Fisher River Cree Nation has entered into an agreement with Right to Play to support the Promoting Life-skills in Aboriginal Youth (PLAY) program in the community of Fisher River.

PLAY is a one year pilot project to support positive emotional, physical, social and cognitive development in the children of Fisher River.

The aim of the PLAY Program is to limit the challenges and build on the strengths of Aboriginal youth and their communities, while supporting the value of culture and identity.

A key component of the program is the promotion of youth engagement through leadership activities, volunteer work and relationship building with other members of the community.
