Flood Preparationsamphibex

For the first time, the Amphibex sandbags machine has been brought in to cut and break up the ice along the Fisher River, preventing ice jams which causes the river to rise.  Other preparations include ongoing Sand Bagging sandbags and dikes being placed around homes that are prone to flooding.

Chief Crate and fellow Council Members would like to extend sincere thanks and appreciation to all those involved in the flood preparations.

See the Amphibex in action.
