Summer Student Career Placement
 

Summer Career Placement encourages Community Partners to assist youth with obtaining work experience and insight as to the labour force, along with required job related skills as to their future occupational career goal.

If your are a business or other community partner that can provide a student with a summer job where they will obtain some work experience and insight as to the labour force. FRHRP has a program that can assist you with income support for the participants and overhead costs.

What is Summer Career Placement?

Summer Career Placement is a Youth Employment Program delivered by FRHRP Department that's main purpose is to assist students with preparing for their future entry into the labour force.

 

 

What is the objective of Summer Career Placement?

The overall objective of Summer Career Placement is to provide work experience and developmental learning experience to in-school students by way of summer employment.

  

 

Who can apply?

Community Partners such as Fisher River Cree Nation Administration, Non-Profit Organizations,  Local Businesses

Who is eligible to participate?

Participants must be students who attended school full-time during the preceding academic year and who intend to return to school on a full-time basis the following academic year.

 

 

What is the length Summer Career Placement can receive funding?

A Summer Career Placement project can receive financial up to a maximum of 8 weeks during the summer months

 

 

What kind of financial assistance can one receive?

FRHRP can contribute towards Wages, Benefits, and Overhead costs related to the project.
