Community Based Training

The FRHRP shall partner with community organizations to undertake the initiative to deliver training to clients under specific training contracts to meet labour market needs.

FRHRP can provide your Organization with financial support towards the costs of delivering the training. Assistance can be in way of Allowance, Wages, Overhead and Administration.

What is Community-Based Training?

Community-Based Training is a labour market program delivered by FRHRP, through delegation of a third party, which is willing to undertake the initiative to deliver training to clients under specific training contracts to meet their labour market needs.


What is the objective of Community Based Training?

The objective of Community Based Training is to assist individuals facing labour market difficulties to obtain specific occupational training to improve their employability needs.

Who can apply?

Community Groups/Organizations, Community Partners, and Fisher River Cree Nation Administration.



 

 

 

 

What are eligible costs?

Some of the eligible costs covered in the Community Based Training project are: wages, participant allowances, overhead - supplies, rent, travel, and any other related costs associated with the delivery of service, and approved by the FRHRP Management Board.
