Fisher River Human Resource Program provides centralized
coordination and administration of labour market
programs and services. Programs are delivered in
partnership with community agencies, industry,
training/education providers and other labour market
partners to deliver a wide range of training and
employment initiatives which assist Fisher River members
to enter/re-enter the labour market and respond to
labour market development requirements.
Some of the objectives of the FRHRP are:

To
promote, encourage, support, and expand the partnership
and the co-management of labour market force development
activities;
·
To
establish training and employment priorities for the
Fisher River membership;
·
To
ensure that policies and procedures about implementation
of programs, services, and projects are made, at the
local level;
·
To
develop linkages with Federal, Provincial, Municipal,
and non-government sectors involved in labour market
force development to ensure complementary and
coordinated efforts;

Ensure that persons receiving assistance are committed
to:
