HEAD NURSE

Full-time Position for REGISTERED NURSE

 
 

Ochekwi Sipi First Nation Personal Care Home, a 32-bed facility, requires the services of a Registered Nurse on a full time basis.

 

Applicants should have the following qualifications: 

  • MARN registered with active practicing license.

  • Experience and knowledge in gerontology an asset.

  • Knowledge of the technical/legal boundaries and perimeters of the Registered Nurse and other Nursing Staff (LPN/HCA)

  • Knowledge of Provincial Standards will be an asset.

  • Ability to work under minimal supervision and stressful situations at times.

  • Positive human realtion skills in dealing with residents, co-workers and the community in general.

  • As part of the nursing team, the candidate is responsible for assessment/implementation of overall nursing care and clientele & supervision for a Nursing team of 20+ members.

The successful applicants will be subject to pre-employment testing as per the FRCN Illegal Drug Policy.
