Since 2005, Fisher River Cree Nation has be the home of the Annual Community Celebration.  Playing host to such notable entertainers as Charlie Major, Marty Stuart, Pam Tillis,  LIttle Texas, Highway 101, Johnny Reid, Jessie Farrell, Sammy Kershaw, Crystal Shawanda and the legendary Mel Tillis.

FRCN and OSEDC are very pleased to announce that multi platinum recording artist Uncle Kracker will be our headliner at this years Community Celebration! The native of Detroit is famous for such hits as Follow Me, Drift Away, In a Little While, Rescue and most recently hitting the country charts with his top 10 song Smile. Uncle Kracker is the former DJ for Kid Rock and like his mentor, brings a blend of country infused southern rock, blues, soul and rap to the stage!

George Canyon got his start on U.S.A. Network's "Nashville Star" - an internationally televised performance competition.  Canyon showed up, wowed the worldwide audiences and nearly won the entire contest.  The rest is history puncutated by industry accolades, achievements and awards including the "Chevy Rising Star Award", "Country Recording of the Year", "Single of the Year", "Male Artist of the Year", and "Fan's Choice Award".

In the past two years, he has been recognized as the most played Canadian artist at Canadian Country Radio.  Canyon's videos garner hundreds of thousands of hits on YouTube.  He's also won multiple Juno, East Coast Music Awards and Canadian Country Music Awards including, "Humanitarian of the Year Award" for his philanthropic endevours.
